About Me

My name is Dennis Given, Psy.D. and I’m a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania. I currently work in a hospital setting as a pain psychologist primarily conducting pain evaluations, presurgical evaluations for patients considering spinal cord stimulator implants, intrathecal pump implants, back surgery and bariatric surgery. Prior to working at the hospital, I ran a group practice for many years. I have worked in various mental health positions throughout my career for over the past twenty five years.

I have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and a master’s in clinicical health psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I also have a master’s in clinical-counseling psychology from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA.

I currently live in Chester County Pennsylvania with my wife and family.
